In type 01.09.04, there is an additional word in the 'Laam' of 'Akaal', which has been read as 'Dar Jhang', attributing the issues to a mint at Jhang, which was annexed to the Sikh Empire by Maharaja Ranjit Singh. The legend arrangement on the Obverse is also slightly changed, with the word 'Saccha' in the 'Laam' of 'Fazal' | |
