These coins were referred to as the Arsiwala shahi, and thought to be carrying a Mirror ring as the symbol. This again has been recently proven wrong, and the symbol is very much similar to the flower of the Ber tree. Ber tree gains religious significance amongst Sikhs as it is present in the Golden Temple premises. |
