After annexation of Peshawar in 1834, by Hari Singh Nalwa, he was given the right to mint coins from there. These coins were of Barkazai weight standard of 8.5g. The coins of Peshawar are very different in calligraphy and fabric from the other coins of the Sikhs. The coins were minted from VS1891 - VS1894. |
