PATIALA

Patiala state was the largest in the Cis-Sutlej region. Its rulers issued coins in the name of Ahmed Shah Abdali, with different symbols for each ruler. A few commemorative issues were made with Sikh legends in the name of Guru Nanak & Guru Gobind Singh similar to the inscriptions on Sikh coins (Gobindshahi legend). Categorization is according to the rulers and symbol varieties.
